Spring has arrived here at RWB. All three basins now have open water. The waterfowl migration is here in force. Thousands of ducks and geese are enjoying the basins and we are enjoying watching them from our house. It's like living in a luxury duck blind.

Duck Hunting 2011 - The Good Old Day's
Sunrise over a frozen Goose Pond.
Sometimes you have to break a little ice.
From soybean field to waterfowl hunting playground in two years.
The most memorable moment was when a flock of mallards came into land with no hesitation. Wow!
2011 Season: 57 ducks and 13 geese.
Thank you to my hunting buddies.
It was fun! Not soon to be forgotten!
Please forward to me your best duck recipes.
Happy Holiday's!
