These photos were from 8-2-2012: Basins A and C are drawing down again this year. Basin B still has good water levels. Today 8-27-2012, Basins A and C are dry and Basin B has a wide perimeter of dirt inside the vegetation line. We have stopped hydrology monitoring until water levels come up. History Lesson:

Prior to settlement, the acres of Ruby's Farm consisted of tall grass prairie and wetlands.

With the help of the Wetland Conservation Act, we will reestablish 60+ acres of the farm to resemble the upland prairie and wetlands of history. This endeavor will take many years and a large outlay of money. This project was approved in November 2008 and was built in Oct/Nov 2009. The project was completed in the spring of 2010. In August 2010, the BWSR awarded Ruby's Wetland Bank, LLC with the first 15% or 10.4 credits. These credits are now available for sale.

The project is being supervised by the US Core of Engineers, Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources (BWSR) and Local Governing Unit.
